Well, when Thomas Keller was here last week, he went to City House. You could do a lot worse that that.

City House is tops. If that's not your style, though, try Germantown Cafe. In East Nashville (across the river), Eastland Cafe, Allium, or Margot. In the Gulch (a little south of downtown), Watermark. Midtown (west of downtown, but very close), Miro District, Lime, Cabana, Sunset Grill, Bound'ry.

Definitely recommend City House, we were there last weekend and had a perfect meal.

Be sure to ask for the chef's bar if you can't get a reservation. It's first come first serve...
