WHICH TRUCK SHOULD I TRY FIRST? RECS PLEASE!

So since i am back in LA for a short while I want to catch up on the Food Truck Craze. Any suggestions? I definitely have the Nom Nom truck and also the Grilled Cheese Truck on my list this week. Any other thoughts of must try's? Thanks!

if you hit the grilled cheese truck, go for the tater tots also. you can get a half portion. with chipolte mayo - it's awesome. i haven't tried their sandwiches yet, but one day i will go back for the mac and cheese sandwich. that just sounds so good. i like nom nom. then i had the sandwich at good girl dinette and i see why others think it's bland, but i'd still recommend it. kogi is my favorite though. i always get tofu and it's always great, so i'm not sure about others who say it's not as good anymore, b/c i've only ever had tofu. wait, i take that back. i tried a co-workers black jack quesadilla w/ pork and i loved it. now i get it w/ tofu.

The only truck that I crave and (somewhat) consistently return to is the South Philly Experience.

I'm of the opinion that if you're going to do one, you should try the original and hit Kogi. Reading the various notes here though it seems that everyone has a different opinion. Personally I find the two you mention above bland and the only ones I'd travel out of my way for are India Jones or the cheesesteak one. Which is not to say I couldn't find better Indian or Cheesesteaks at a non-truck location were I willing to travel farther.

That said, it's not a truck but go hit Ricky's Fish Tacos.
