Good spot to take a girl for coffee/for a beer around Verdun, LaSalle, Ville Emard

Anyone have any suggestions as to where to take a girl either for Coffee, or for a beer in the area of Verdun, LaSalle, Ville Emard. The only thing I can think of is Cha Noir.

in verdun, try to grab a beer at le garage. they have a nice selection of beer on tap

I second cha noir.

there is also a coffee shop (Tazo something) almost on the corner of willington and Hickson. Excellent hot chocolate, some pastries, chocolate, Kusmi tea and good coffee. It's a small place and the owners take pride in what they offer. It is also a good place to buy tea accessories. The inside is nicer looking than cha noir but their hours are more limited.

no bars really in verdun,but you can try getting a beer at the garage on hickson across from delices de maurecie.

For coffee went once with a girl to Cafe Choco-Latte on Dollard in LaSalle, it was not a bad place, relax atmosphere if you want to talk
