Traveling to Cocoa Beach for a night before boarding ship for cruise- any suggestions for a good dinner, seafood is preferred or Italian, or local flavor . Not picky, just like good tasting food. Thanks for suggestions.

For seafood, either Grills or Florida's Seafood Bar & Grill do fish/shrimp in a variety of ways in a nice outdoor setting. For more serious eating, The Fat Snook would be a good bet (make reservations as it's a small place.) For Italian, there's Silvestro's.

One of the best meals I have had (certainly the best in FL) was at The Fat Snook at the northern end of Cocoa Beach. You would probably drive right by, but the innovative, fresh food (seafood and meats) is well worth a stop. The desserts are amazing as well. A fellow traveller we met in a hotel elevator recomended it--I wish I could find him to thank him. Cannot wait to find an excuse to go back.
