I out a top round on to marinade on friday afternoon. My plans kept being diverted....do you think its still ok to grill? I had just bought it that day.
Yes - I've marinated steaks for that long and longer. The salt and vinegar (if you used any) are preservatives, which buys you an extra few days.
The quality will certainly deteriorate, esp if there is vinegar in it, but it won't be bad for you. Most likely will turn mushy though
