Does anyone know where I can find these in the Maryland area? They used to have big displays of Brach's bulk candy in the grocery stores and I'm not seeing them anymore. Please advise.

  1. Wegman's has a large bulk candies section. Does anyone know if I can get them there?

Have you tried just buying them online?

I know that I could but I'm craving an experience as well. When I was a kid I used to walk in to the store and my eyes would glaze over at the sight of the Brach's bulk display! *LOL*

Check out Cracker Barrel for a pretty large selection of the classic candies we enjoyed as kids.

    2. Your post brings up old memories for me of the magical giant bins of Brachs in the store. My one and only shoplifting attempt occurred with that, and it was the coconut neopolitans I was after. I was about 5, Mom had gone on down the dairy aisle and I was unsupervised beside the magical bin. I made sure Mom had her back turned, reached in and grabbed the cello-wrapped object of my salivation, turned and looked up to see a nun in full, head-to-toe black and white regalia glaring down at me.

Candy was, of course, quickly re-deposited in the bin and I ran to catch up with Mom to save me from the wrath of God's handmaiden.

        *LOL* That's hilarious Weezy!!

I remember at my store's Brach's display they had the $.05 sample box and you'd put your nickle in there and take a candy. Sometimes I'd pluck the box with my finger just to make it sound like I had put a nickle in there and then take one. *LOL*
