KINDER EGG CRISIS

Where can I find large kinder surprise eggs...ideally in Brooklyn, but will go into Manhattan if necessary. Welcome advice...Easter morning will be stormy without them.

any euro-style groceries (russian, polish, whatever) that usually have the dried fruits and nuts, a deli-counter, packaged crackers/cookies/candies, will have them. They are all over Rego Park (63rd Drive or 108th Street) in Queens, but easily found down on Brighton Ave, as well as any other ethnic enclave like that.

Sorry for the late reply...it being after Easter and all, but I saw them today at the Italian place in Chelsea Mkt. They are in a display at the register. They seemed to have quite a few left at about noon today-Monday.

The FDA banned them. I was able to get them here in Massachusetts at Christmas, when they came in through Canada, but the store I bought them from said the FDA caught on and closed that route, so there's no way to get them in the US at a store.
