So G Coffee Roasters (South Glastonbury, CT): You've gotta try this coffee!
Stopped in for an iced decaf Americano after hiking through Cotton Hollow today. I asked the barista what espresso they used as it was so delicious I could have had it without sugar or cream. "I roast it here," she explained.
TRY THIS COFFEE. If a decaf iced tastes as fantastic as mine did, I can only imagine what other brewed beverages there taste like. Impressive. This is the place in the Gardiner's Market plaza, next to the video store and Char Koon, across from the P.O. You've gotta go if you're anywhere near South Glastonbury!

Yes, great coffee and wonderful owners. I can personally speak to the coffee beans they sell as being terrific. They roast it right there on site.
Anyone know if they are open on Sundays yet? I knew they were looking to do so and I was thinking of heading over there today.
(strange editing feature. can't seem to get rid of the portion below. Oh well. I suppose it's worth repeating)

re: askeenan
I meant to add what a great idea I thought it was to see a squeeze bottle of simple syrup among the things to add to one's drink. Brilliant!
You can sit outside on the patio (no umbrellas, wonder if those will come as the weather improves?) or inside.
askeenan, ohmygoodness, I took a picture of that teepee structure yesterday, having no idea I "knew" someone who built it. Really neat to learn that here. Such a gorgeous area to hike and a perfect day for it, too. For you:
