3 Quick Wine Country Questions...promise they are quick! :-)

We will be in the Wine Country soon and I am finishing up our itinerary but have 3 stumbeling blocks...

1. Is it Ridge Winery or Pine Ridge Winery that we should go to?? I have read so much advice but don't know which of these everyone keeps refering to.

2. How is Brunch at Redd? or is Lunch better? and if lunch is better is there a AMAZING brunch place in the area (we are willing to drive for good brunch!)

3. We will be driving up from San Francisco on Saturday morning to Napa and wanted a good place to stop for breakfast or lunch on the way...or maybe a winery...any suggestions?

Ridge Winery is not in Napa, but down south (Cupertino). You probably mean Pine Ridge.

Start Saturday morning at The Ferry Plaza in San Francisco before driving up to Napa.

There is Ridge Lytton springs in Healdsburg which is the "wine country" (OP didn't specify napa) outpost of ridge (haven't been to the one in santa cruz mountains which is their flagship and most of the cab is grown I think) I could be wrong but it seemed like most of the wines were available for tasting at Lytton springs and were very, very good. Some of the best and most balanced zins available and my guess is the one people say you should go to. Never tried Pine Ridge but I whole heartedly recommend Ridge at Lytton Springs
