Easter dinner: what am I forgetting?
You know how you go to the fridge to get the whip cream for dessert and you always find the pickle plate you forgot to put out? I'm feeling that way. What 'must have' am I missing?
Keeping it simple - lots of kids and not a lot of money:
Ham
hashbrown casserole
asparagus
spinach salad
squash sweet potato puree
cheese bread
pickle plate
deviled eggs
dessert
What? I feel like there is a "gasp you aren't serving ....?" in there somewhere?

I had my easter dinner yesterday - it's when it worked for everyone. It was all good and went over well with everyone. For the record the glazed pearl onions with red grapes (I think I found the recipe here) was just odd. It sounded so odd I thought it might be good but it was really no big deal and at $4 for 4oz not worth the expense.
Still felt I was forgetting something. Must just be neurotic cause it was a great meal. All well fed - kids and adults all happy.
