You might want to check out Pastaworks on Hawthorne. Last time I was there, they had a nice selection of grass fed beef from Carmen Ranch (northeastern Oregon). Seems to me that (in the past), I've seen Carmen Ranch Beef on the menu at Paley's Place and Meriwether's. According to their website Carmen Ranch grows their own Tritical for hay and not grain, to feed their animals in the winter.

Best bet might be to hit a farmers' market and ask the vendors if any restaurants carry their meat. Deck Family Farm (Junction City, OR) sells at the Saturday PSU market, their beef is 100% grass-fed and finished.
Can't think of any restaurants offhand myself, but there's gotta be one somewhere.

There are many around town who serve Pasture Raised beef. Higgins and McMenamins come to mind right away. Maybe check Oregon Country Beef/Country Natural Beef Website to see where their meat is served. Painted Hills Beef Website probably lists where their meat is served. Also check on-line for Emerald Valley Beef (raised in Oregon). Not sure what you mean by "LM"?

re: nwfoodee
Painted Hills is "Grain Fed" and Emerald Valley I believe is Co-opted into New seasons house brand and no real specific Info is independently available for them but I believe they are grass fed and wintered on stored hay (but not in restaurants) "LM" meant Laurelhurst Market. Thanx!
