Restaurants With Private Rooms in Berkeley

The time for graduation celebrations is approaching and I'm trying to find a delicious restaurant in Berkeley that could accomodate about 18 people. One with a back room or private room would be preferable. I'm open to any kind of cuisine or dining setting, from Irish pubs to fine dining. Hit me with your best shot!

Bistro Liaison has a very nice adjacent private dining room/wine cellar.
We had my daughters delicious graduation dinner there last year.
There were about 14-16 of us, and the service was flawless.

We were eating in Liaison one night when there was a party in the private room and were startled to see that the servers had to go back and forth on the sidewalk, since it's separated from the restaurant by the building's garage.

Bucci's has a nice back room for parties, good food, and a bar. Easy parking. Cheerful ambiance.

Part of the problem is your specification of Berkeley. If north oakland counts, the options go up. Like Soizic. I'm sure the clairmont would do something for you (also oakland). China Village is a sleeper choice - they'll set aside two big tables in their side area and give you privacy - but I think it's in albany.

Soizic is not in North Oakland, unless they've moved it recently. Were you thinking of somewhere else, or do you consider Jack London Square "North Oakland"?

Perhaps the back patio room at A Cote? It's technically Oakland, but still quite close to Berkeley. Eighteen also might be a tight squeeze.

My friend had her graduation dinner at Adagia. I'm not sure if there's a private room, but it can accommodate large groups and is quiet enough for conversation.

18 people might fill the main room at Digs Bistro and be to many for the small side room. Riva Cucina has a separate area off the main room screened only by curtains.
