Calgary pizza truck

There's a guy here that does wood fired pizzas from his truck. Can anyone tell me the website or his contact please. I've lost it again :(

I read about this guy somewhere. Now I'm curious...Has anyone had the pizza? How was it? And does he go anywhere in the city?

He sticks mostly within Bridgeland but will go further if it's a big order/party. The pizzas are pretty good, but I think he does catering that's even better.

    2. I wonder who insures a truck that has a wood-burning oven in it that is all fired up cookin' a pizza as the guy is making a home delivery?

      1. There is also a pizza oven in a mobile horse trailer. It was on the 8th ave mall last summer. I think if you google you will find more than one.

I have a feeling he is trying to franchise out. He replied to my email with costs and everything to do a corporate event so I'm assuming he still is in business.

Unfortunately it was a little pricey so we dropped the idea.

Based upon several postings, I sought out Pimento's last night for dinner. Short review: Fantastic! Long review: Highly recommended :) I called Mario to ascertain his location which he kindly gave, we showed up half an hour later (with Mom in tow; she wasn't too sure about this), and we all loved the offerings. It was a rather chilly evening, so we did an SUV-picnic, but a park would be great. Mario is completely approachable, talkative, and a terrific personality. I will be making him a regular weekend stop.

Where was his truck? Do you know if he moves around quite a bit or stays in one place for a while?

I believe he sticks in and around the Bridgeland area. He was parked in front of what I believe was his home. After he made our pizzas he ran (literally) a few pizzas across the street then drove off. He said he had three families a few blocks north to make dinner for. Honestly, it was great, topped with plenty of fresh basil, yum! He only works on Friday and Saturday (evenings I would imagine). I just called him, asked where he would be in a 1/2 hour, and showed up! While baking our pizza he chatted enthusiastically about his operation and expansion, and our pizzas were ready in no time at all. No need to pre-order, he prepares/bakes them once you arrive.
