A new Vig just opened on 16th St north of Bethany Home Rd. Anyone checked it out yet? I drive by there every day and I didn't even notice it until last night. Very stealthy.
They just opened a couple of weeks ago. They have a few interesting cocktails on the bar menu and the food is similar to the Arcadia store. We only drinks but the patio is nice, and the staff seemed friendly for a Sunday morning.
Ate there last Sunday. Food was okay. Noise level was unbearable and only valet parking. "Complimentary valet parking" is only complimentary if you don't have to tip. And I guess you don't "have" to tip but really.....Not my idea of "neighborhood" place. Too big. Too noisy. And I don't like valet parking. I'll stick with Phoenix City Grille down the street if I want to eat in the neighborhood.

I have been here three times now and have been disappointed with the food on all occasions. I would consider this more of a bar and not a restaurant. The salsa and guac, double down (hummus & baba ganoush) were disappointing as appetizers. The vigan sandwich was ok but nothing to write home about. I also found the noise level to be excessive- shouting to the person next to you isn't fun or enjoyable. They have turned down the volume on the music but the chatter in the restaurant echoes throughout the space. Hope that they can improve because I am super excited to have a new hangout in the 'hood.
