Scampo would be my choice. Not necessarily Locke Ober fancy, but certainly spendy. Felt like a splurge to me.

Take a look at Via Matta - I have always had good lunches there (three times in past two years).
In the past month, I have had lunch twice at Bistro du Midi and on the bases of those lunches, I am (a) bringing my out of town sister here this evening and (b) adding this to my top three places in Boston.-----

Some of the better restaurants in the Park Square area offer lunch. I like Davios in that area; Avila and Via Matta are also good. The Bristol Lounge at the Four Seasons would work as well as the Cafe at the Taj.
