Good places to eat in Cheltenham/Gloucester

2 of us visiting the Cheltenham/Gloucester area for a couple of days over Easter.

Any recommendations?

Any type of cuisine welcome. Lunch & dinner.

Up to approx £70 for dinner for two (plus wine).

It's probably impossible to mention Cheltenham without mentioning Le Champignon Sauvage - set dinner menu comes in at thirty quid which sounds like a bargain to me.

Agreed. Absolutely excellent, ate there a couple of times for lunch in the last 12 months, an absolute bargain for the quality of food, worth it for the bacon brioche alone!
