Westchester Party Room Recommendations

I am trying to find a party room to host an informal brunch party for 75 people in lower Westchester, ideally along the east coast by I-95. We're looking for a wheelchair accessible space that serves possibly Kosher food. We're looking to spend around $15-25 per person.

We grew up on Long Island, and have found some good candidates such as Sullivan's Quay in Port Washington, NY which is offering a buffet at $18 per person in a pub-like atmosphere. The closest we've found in Westchester has been Molly Spillaines in Mamaroneck, but they are $25 per person. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sam's in White Plains does catering and hosts private parties. I have no idea on price, but their food is very good.

If you want to drive farther for easier access off I-95, you could probably also ask on the CT board and get some good recommendations on the CT coast, with the possible exception of Greenwich. The Brewhouse is in SoNo, CT, and has an excellent brunch for $26.95 a person.

Call Rye Grill and see if they could do something in your price range. They have a private room upstairs (there is an elevator).

I didn't mention it in the original post, but Rye Grill is one of my favorites (from looking at websites that advertise prices). They are at $25 per person as well. Is the food there good?

I hosted a Christmas party there for about 40 people and would highly recommend it. We did a lunch buffet and the food was very good and plentiful (so much in fact that one of the guests embarrassed me by asking to have the left overs packed up, and with a smile they packed it up in a few big trays). The room is nice, service good, and location is easy to get to.

I've never had a buffet there, but we eat in the restaurant often. I think it's good. The room is nice, the service is good. I think it's better than Molly Spillanes and the parking is easier too!

Did I say Kosher? Whoops. We have a small portion of the family that keeps kosher, and we briefly thought about making the entire party kosher for them, but decided that it wasn't worth limiting our options.

I know you said "ideally 95" and this is not, but as far as a party room, and Kosher, The Double Tree in Tarrytown has both. You could speak to the catering dept- very flexible, to preplan a menu that is lower budget. they have a Kosher kitchen.

Well you said Kosher but then gave two pub/Irish examples so:

              1. there has been some recent discussion on this board, favorable if I remember correctly about katie's cottage in yonkers. http://www.katiesny.com/ I don't know if they have a party room.
              2. Another suggestion is Rory Dolans. http://www.rorydolans.com/ They definitely have a party room.
