Lunch/Dinner in Flemington [moved from LA]

Looking for a comfortable place in Flemington this June; there will be about 10-12 of us and we are looking for a causual place that at most will cost us $25 including tax and tip; American or Italian. Someone metioned Karlas and someone else mentioned Mother's, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm confused by your request because neither of the restaurants you mention is in Flemington. In fact, they are not even in New Jersey! Both are in New Hope, just across the Delaware River in Pennsylvania. There is a great little breakfast and lunch joint, called Mom's, in Ringoes, just south of Flemington but I don't think this is the place your friend is thinking of.

If you really want to stay in Flemington, I suggest two places, namely 55 Main and Teaberry's. Both are in town and both do lunch. Only 55 Main does dinner as well. I have been to 55 Main with a group of ten and we were all very pleased with the food and service.

Teaberry's is an outstanding tea shoppe but they also serve wonderful lunches. Many people do not know this and they are missing some of the best food served in the area. If you do choose Teaberry's you must make a reservation as it is very popular.

If you are looking for a place NEAR Flemington, that opens up a whole bunch of other possibilities.

As you can see I am not good with geography either...but anything in that New Hope/Flemington area is good. We have been to Teaberrys and loved it but we always like to try something new.
