Thoughts on Pesos?
Went to Pesos a couple of weekends back and enjoyed outselves, although I felt like they just missed the mark a little when my carnitas were a bit over fried and dried out. Other then that, the rest of the meal was fabulous.
What has been everyone else's experience?
Any other GourMex recommendations? For more details on our visit as well as me waxing nostalgically for the Mexincan food in the desert southwest, check out my post in Tao of Chow.

Billy Bob,
"GourMex" suggests a high bar, so I hesitate, but we've had revelatory meals (as well as, distinctly, not) at Senor Moose, 5242 Leary Ave NW, and Cocina Esperanza, 3127 Northwest 85th St, where specials can rock. Close, comfortable, and satisfying, we enjoy Tacos Guaymas. too. Their Ceviche, was my first. This led to Uwajimaya for a slab of exquisitely fresh snapper, and a permanent berth in the menu of the house
