Where in Manhattan to buy casual dinnerware

Looking to purchase some casual dinnerware. Can't seem to find anything I like online and was just looking for something different. Any smaller independent places where I might find something or I'll take any of your suggestions. Nothing too modern or crazy. Was thinking of maybe trying Fishs Eddy but hoping for more places to check out. Thanks!

    Fish's Eddy is the best- lots of inspired and unique patterns, as well as solids. You can mix and match a lot of different patterns and have fun setting the table. Think it's at 19th and Broadway. Also online. They've got a lot of affordable serving pieces too. I have to stop myself from stopping in....I'm always finding something to buy!

      Not sure what you mean by casual, but I got some nice stuff down on the Bowery. There are a bunch of restaurant supply stores there (dont remember the names) and I got some nice hefty (masculine?) stuff at a really good price.

        What about Fish's Eddy, 889 B'way at 19th St. Lots of solid, white diner-style, which if that's not masculine...

          So far, the green band line is my favorite at Fishs Eddy.

            Thanks both of you. I looked online at Macy's a few times already. I am hoping to find something somewhat rustic, masculine, and of solid quality. Maybe Zabar's or Dean & DeLuca? I'm sure Dean & DeLuca will clean out my wallet though!

              I don't know how casual or what price point, but I would look downstairs in Macy's Cellar, and up on the 6th floor at Bloomingdales. Between the two there's a lot of coverage for different tastes. Of course, there's also Crate and Barrel as well as Pottery Barn. You could even take a look at Gracious Home. I'm not sure how different the selections would be from their online offerings, but my experience is that the in store selections tend to be much larger and more varied.

                In the case of Macy's, their on-line selection is vastly larger than the selection in the Herald Square store.
