I know you can buy them but the actual tree is available at any Calloways Then you will eliminate the $3+ price tag Central Market and Whole Foods has on those Meyer Lemons.

Good idea! I'll have to buy one. Appreciate all of the help on this!! I'm making a Meyer Lemon Crepe Cake for Easter and I really wanted to use actual Meyer lemons instead of regular and having to sweeten them with sugar. Thanks!!

My mother in laws Meyer Lemon tree last year produced I believe 12 or 13 and it was her first season. She made the best lemon curd pie with it. I will not eat any lemon desserts but the Meyer Lemon is, as you correctly stated, sweeter and also has a slight herbal note.

Another advantage to having the tree is the leaves which have culinary uses as well as being a natural insect repellant/natural perfume if you rub the leaf on your skin.

          Central Market always has them.

Try central Market or Whole Foods.
