Bravo Providence slipping

Seems that ever since the original owners of Bravo sold the play it is slowly slipped. Pretty much getting the same quality of meal that I'd expect at TGI Fridays or Applebees now. Not bad, just ok. And that really doesn't do that space justice. It deserves a very good restaurant, not just a mediocre one. And if you are going to be just ok, then your prices should reflect that.

  1. Totally agree! I went last month after PPAC and was terribly disappointed. The food seemed of good quality, but was tasteless. The mac and cheese was bland and far from "award winning".

I haven't been since the new owners took over because I have heard nothing but bad reviews. It's too bad, because the new owners (and most of the staff) had worked at The Barnsider Mile and a Quarter House (before it closed in 6/08), and many were hoping they were going to repeat their menu - to a degree - at Bravo. Sadly, it hasn't happened.

    2. We have been there 3 times over the years with friends that for some reason like the place. The food was always blah, nothing that couldn't be cooked at home or gotten somewhere else for half the price and expectations.

They need to step it up or they will enter the death spiral......
