best happy hour?
what suggestions does everyone have for good happy hour (food) selections in houston? thanks in advance!!
The Burning Pear at City Walk in Sugar Land has a good happy hour 4-7. Dozen spicy chicken wings for $4, Frito Pie $3, Chicken Quesadillas £3. Bit of a hike though of course.
It's hard to grumble about the dozen oysters for $4 at Ragin Cajun, Mon-Fri 3-7. They were big and juicy last time I was in.
A bit more upmarket is Fleming's Steakhouse, choice of 5 appetisers or a Bacon Cheeseburger for $6 each 5-7.
My favorite though has to be the Seafood Stuffed Jalapenos at Landrys - $3 in Happy Hour every day 11-7. I'm addicted to those things.
My first choice is Indika's on lower Westheimer.. 1/2 off the bar food/drink menu.. everything on the 10 choice or so "small plate" food menu "pops".. Especially terrific,, chicken wings and lamb sandwich... Portions are substantial and so tasty.
My 2nd choice is Hugo's on Westheimer.. The house Rita is awesome,, and the tasty food offerings are great,, from the 3 small soft taco plate,, to the lobster tamale...
