Serentori - this local gem is closing 03/31/10

The landlord has raised the rent and our beloved SerenTori is closing. Please show your support to this lovely family and the homestyle asian food that they shared with us by stopping by and wishing them well. They may open elsewhere if they can find a good spot at a cost that allows them to earn a living. Closed Sunday. Close at 8:00 evenings. We will miss them greatly.

That is unfortunate - sorry you lost your neighborhood place! I had never heard of this restaurant at all, and would have been interested in checking them out if I had. I guess the moral of the story is, we need to make sure we tell people about the local gems so they stay open!

my apologies. Stopped by this evening and apparently the towel was thrown in early. The lights are off and no one is home.
