The request is a bit open-ended. How about a nice pho ga (chicken pho) at My Chau on Kingsway? Light broth, perfect vermicelli, practically grease-free.

re: fmed
Let's just say if you have a hankering for noodles in Kits, skip the Noodle Box and have some real Pad Thai at Maenam. At least, that's my take. It's definitely not a bad spot, just so much better can be had in this city than pan-Asian wok fried noodles.
You might enjoy some nice fish tacos ('tacones') down at Go Fish near Granville Island for a picturesque snack or outdoors lunch. They are certainly healthy and delicious.

I had the Pad Thai and a lot more stuff at maenam yesterday. very good Tom Kha but the pad thai and the rest of the dishes were sooo greasy, it was ridiculous..i have actually never seen some thai food that greasy before! but anyways, thanks for the pick. it wasn't bad. my colleague really liked it, although it took us a 2 hr long walk to digest!

re: fmed
I just realized you are coming in from out of town and staying at the Loden. Voya (in the Loden) is a very good restaurant. http://www.voya-restaurant.com/ Marc André Choquette used to be the chef at Lumiere here in town. Pricey, but good. Their Lunch menu is priced reasonably, actually. http://www.voya-restaurant.com/food-a... (eg, the burger at $15 is around the going rate for a "premium" burger here.).
One place that out-of-towners usually enjoy is Vij's or the more reasonably priced sister restaurant Rangoli right next door.
