Joe's Shrimp House (near Armitage?)

Does anyone remember Joe's? It used to be a great place to get fried shrimpt (the kind you eat out of the bag) in Chicago.

I recently went to Lawrence Fisherie's and it was good, but not quite as good as Joe's.

Does anyone know of anyplace else to try?

It may not sound quite right, but the best fried shrimp in a bag I've had in some time was at
Redhot Ranch, ‎2072 North Western Avenue . The fries and dogs are also outstanding.

I also have fond memories of Joe's. The best place we've found is Haire's Gulf Shrimp at 8112 S. Vincennes. If you take the Kennedy/Dan Ryan to 79th street and then south on Vincennes, it doesn't take long at all. and well worth the trip.

Tired Hagan's over the weekend and it was quite good. It is located at Montrose and Central. Open until 12 a.m. on weekends.
