hard rock cafe [moved from Manhattan board]

My teenage daughter has decided that our next trip to New York MUST include lunch at the hard rock cafe. (Not just looking at the stuff in the lobby.) Way back - 20 years - they were known for their burgers. Is there anything they do that is worth ordering or should I resign myself to an ordinary chain restaurant lunch for the sake of my wonderful child?

  1. Think of it as just one other thing, among oh so many, that we do for our kids. At least these days the line isn't halfway diown the block!

      1. I ate at the HRC in the Hard Rock Casino in Florida recently. Had a burger with apple slices and bacon--it was surprisingly good. I dined with two vegetarians that also really liked their meals. The nachos were also very good. Better than the average chain imo.

        1. The pulled pig sandwich served with coleslaw and baked beans is pretty good. I also remember the quesadilla with chicken and pineapple salsa was decent. My kids love the twisted mac and cheese w/grilled chicken.
