Looking for Apple Cider Donuts

I've had apple cider donuts once in my life stopping by Stu leonards on my way up to CT, this was over a year ago. They were fantastic and I have been craving them as of late. I live in Brooklyn and have been wanted to grab some somewhere in the area. Ive been told they are at the Union Square Green market but unfortunately because it closes by 6pm I wouldnt make it in time after work. Does anyone have any info on where I could get these in brooklyn or anywhere that I can reach?

They do have apple cider donuts -- plain and with sugar -- at the Grand Army Plaza farmers' market on Saturdays. Don't remember the name of the stand, but it's the first one immediately on the right as you enter from Prospect Park West, the one with lots of varieties of apples. They're not the best apple cider donuts I've ever had, but they're tasty enough -- my kids go crazy for them.

Tree-licious, perhaps? They're the best of the farmers market ones I've tried. Not as good as, say, freshly fried to order, but not leaden like some of the others!

Mmmmm stus apple cider doughnut holes are the BEST!!!
I know Soons Orchards has them, as well as some farmers markets in orange county, but they are farther away then even stu leonards.

Im wondering if maybe fairway has them in the fall???

they have them on the dessert menu at Hearth restaurant in Manhattan
Michael’s New York had them on their winter menu but no longer…

This was two years ago, but when I was visiting a friend the Brooklyn farmers market (near the botanical gardens) had apple cider doughnuts. Perhaps a local 'hound can confirm?

A couple farmers at the Boro Hall Green Market sell apple cider donuts. They aren't fresh, but they're pretty good.

For a fun trek, you can visit Wilklow Orchards, outside of New Paltz, and have freshly fried and sugared donuts in the orchard where the apples were picked.

I don't know what you mean by "They aren't fresh". Maybe that they don't fry them up at the Greenmarket? Anyway, Wilklow Orchards always has them at the Borough Hall Greenmarket on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Just bought some on Tuesday. I think they are delicious!

I'm guessing that the cider donuts at the Borough Hall greenmarket (Tuesdays and Thursdays) are probably made the day before. They have a good flavor, but they are slightly hard/stale. I wonder if you pop them in a microwave for a few seconds, would that soften them back up?

at GAP market, the doughnuts from the apple/flower vendor on the right as you enter from PPW has good apple cider doughnuts. We havent found them old, hard or stale.

This thread put cider donuts in my mind when I was at GAP this weekend. Picked up some plain and sugared donuts and shared them w/ friends. All agreed that they hit the spot. Along w/ some cider, they were a perfect elevensies.
