Has anyone ever ordered bulk seafood from an online source?

I'm still obsessing about obtaining good quality seafood, specifically shrimp, and found many sources to order from online. Most are in the Louisiana area, and will ship 10lbs. of wild gulf shrimp for around $120 on average. I'm thinking my freezer can handle that, lol.

Just curious if anyone else has ever done this before?

  1. I'll be watching this thread to see what peopole say. One of the best, I'm told, is Vital Choice out of Bellingham, Washington. I've only ordered the canned salmon, which is the best I've ever had, by far, but they have an extensive selection of forzen seafood. They have a good reputation, and operate in a sustainable manner, which is always good. They do have spot prawns, at least, and probably have more varieties of shrimp.
