Homemade Pasta in the Valley or Nearby

I am having a party on Saturday and would like to bring in some homemade pasta. I don't need the sauce, just the pasta. If not, any suggestions for store-bought brands? Thanks!

  1. Try calling: www.piccolatrattoria.com
It's located off Sierra Hwy and Soledad Canyon in Canyon Country (14N off Sierra Hwy). Call during the early part of the day when their deli is open. I KNOW they make their own pastas as I have eaten in their restaurant numerous times. They sell much in their deli daytime, which is inside the restaurant. Maybe it includes pastas. Their bread is da bomb too! Good Luck..:)

    1. A recent LA Weekly Blog on the best ethnic markets in the Valley -- http://blogs.laweekly.com/squidink/to... -- said that Domingo's Italian Market in Encino has homemade pastas. I don't see a mention of unsauced pastas for sale on their website -- http://www.domingositaliandeli.com/home -- but you might give them a call and ask.

A search on the site also found some mention of Eagle Rock Italian Bakery & Deli -- http://eaglerockitalianbakery.com/ . The website provides no information, but some people mentioned on Yelp buying very good homemade pastas there.

      1. Lido's Pizza in Van Nuys makes their own pasta. They are on Victory just east of Sepulveda. They also have really good pizza!!

There are a lot of restaurants that make their own pastas. But would they sell plain pasta to a customer? That's why I listed Italian delis.

No clue - you would have to call them. They do to-go orders, although I have only had the pasta in-house.
