Chaya Venice has an 8 oz and a 16 oz. I think the latter is 34 dollars and the former, obviously less...

believe it or not, the rib eye at the daily grill in brentwood is quite good (there is also a location samo). @ $30 with a couple sides.

BOA in Santa Monica - a la carte ($34 bone-in)

Ruths Chris in Beverly Hills - a la carte and bit more expensive ($39 regular, $44 bone-in) but preferred.

          Wilshire a la carte ($45, 16 oz. bone-in)

Just an FYI (I've never had it there):

            The Galley - Santa Monica:

17 ounce Rib-eye, with potato, rice, or onion rings & veggie choice = $30.

You named one of my favorites. A big, thick Rutherford rib eye steak with a wonderful char from their grill and always cooked perfectly (medium rare for me). And you actually get some perfect thickly sliced farmer's market tomatoes with excellent bleu cheese on top as a side. I think it runs about $38 presently.

Reasonable means different things to different people. What does it mean to you?
