Tonight - any ideas?

  1. Reasonable means different things to different people. What does it mean to you?

    1. Howz about Bandera on Wilshire?

You named one of my favorites. A big, thick Rutherford rib eye steak with a wonderful char from their grill and always cooked perfectly (medium rare for me). And you actually get some perfect thickly sliced farmer's market tomatoes with excellent bleu cheese on top as a side. I think it runs about $38 presently.

      2. 26 Beach, 20oz ribeye, veggies, startch and a salad, right around $30-$32

Billingsley's on Pico Blvd. near the 405.

        2. Just an FYI (I've never had it there):

          The Galley - Santa Monica:

17 ounce Rib-eye, with potato, rice, or onion rings & veggie choice = $30.

          1. BOA in Santa Monica - a la carte ($34 bone-in)

Ruths Chris in Beverly Hills - a la carte and bit more expensive ($39 regular, $44 bone-in) but preferred.

            Wilshire a la carte ($45, 16 oz. bone-in)
