I am so unfamiliar with this area! Visiting a friend tonight and will need to dine in her neighborhood after our visit. She lives off Hyde Park Avenue. Any recommendations for a weeknite meal?

It's funny everyone is mentioning Townsends. It's the only decent place to eat in Hyde Park.

Townsend's is excellent. It's on Fairmount Street in Cleary Square.

Townsends is an excellent suggestion. Also next to Townsends is The Hyde.
