Wonderful Saturday Lunch Spot?

Will be in New Orleans in May for a wedding, and Saturday lunch is our only opportunity to enjoy a place of our choosing. We haven't visited in a few years but in the past have enjoyed Upperline, Bayona, Gabrielle, Mr. B's, Commander's and Galatoire's. We're staying in the Quarter but are happy to travel for great food. (And I'd be happy to return to most of the aforementioned if they're still great.) Recommendations, please!

Luke looks fantastic, thanks! August and Brigtsen's have also been on my list but unfortunately it doesn't look like either does Saturday lunch/brunch.

If by chance you get in on Friday afternoon, August has a wonderfully affordable prix fixe lunch menu.

Sadly, not early enough on Friday. But it's just one more reason to come back soon!

Brigtsen's, August, MiLa don't offer lunch on Sat. I'd take a cab to Coquette. IMO Luke is bet for cheap happy hour drinks and oysters. I find the food so-so.

I agree with your take on Luke 100%!

How about Brigtsen's, Luke, August or NOLA?
