Artisan chocolates

My chocoholic sil will be visiting soon and I've been vaguely thinking of trying to see the city through a lens of chocolate-shop visits. There is one on Monkland down near Grand I think, and another -- at least one other on Sherbrooke. There is Nancy's, I know, on Monkland. But I haven't really tried any of these chocolates. I tried some from Premier Moisson which didn't seem to knock off any socks (to my surprise) -- but I'm guessing some of these other places might. Where would you go for amazing chocolates? (I'd be most obliged if it's possible to note which part of town your recommendation is in, e.g., Plateau, Lachine, etc...)

Thanks!

Wow; what a great thread -- thanks!

Anyone else have a (more up-to-date) opinion about Nancy's chocolate vs those across town?

Is Chloe's the one two doors down from Au Pied De Cochon?

That place looks cute. How's the chocolate?

Some of the best in the city in the opinion of many. I wouldn't call them world class but they do have a certain appeal. Good discussion in the thread that Max linked to above.

My favorite chocolates are found at Le Maitre Chocolatier on Sherbrooke Street West near Guy.
