Good, not great.
Late Sunday brunch: Lamb was a bit over-done, with the side spinach over-salted. Scone and beignet spot on. Service decent for Easter, a lot of staff but not attentive enough (for me) service - odd. Dessert was simple and nice. Great location and space. I would go again to try other items.

I second the pineapple upside down cake. I also really liked the scallops with pork belly - it was a really nice combination of flavors.

re: Seige
Overall, good not great.
The Great
The Rabbit amuse was phenomenal and may have been the best thing all nigiht. French Onion soup was top notch as well.
Wifey has steak frites, loved them, the streak was prepared perfectly.
Wifey's profiteroles; as good as any french bakery
The Just Ok
- the pineapple upside down cake; honestly no better than any other I have had; maybe my expectations were too high, but i dont understand what the hype is about.
- The Braised Ribs; they were season quite nice and cooked well, but the meat was not that high quality; way to grizzily and not was you would expect from a James Beard restaurant

Meritage is at the top of my list of places to try. I'm a vegetarian, and I realize I'm a pain in the butt, but I emailed the Meritage and Russell informed me that I could be accommodated with the Recession Sunday or even their Tasting Menu's. I'll probably go on a Sunday to check it out, but was thinking of taking my mom there for her birthday for a tasting menu.
