  1. Try Rocky Point, on a cliff looking over the water just south of Carmel. Here is the link:

    1. What are you looking for? Pacific's Edge in the Highlands Inn used to be fantastic though I haven't been in 3-4 years.

      1. You don't say how many nights you'll be there, but one night for sure check out the Pacific's Edge as mentioned above. If the budget's tight, at least go for a drink at sunset. Also, the bar menu is enough for us to make a meal on if you don't want the full dinner.
If you are there for another night, in downtown Carmel, I'd suggest Napoli for, guess what, Italian. Clint's place is fun for just regular American food. Also, many others if you would let us know your particular favorite cuisine choices.

Pacific's Edge is very, very nice! If you want to go into Big Sur, Sierra Mar @ the Post Ranch Inn is amazing as well. Right in Carmel proper there is Christopher's on Lincoln, Anton & Michel, Grasing's Coastal Cuisine and Casanova. If you like Japanese food, the Flying Fish Grill is very good, it is located in the Carmel Plaza shopping center. :)
