Rehearsal Dinner - Red Bank

We're planning a wedding at The Molly Pitcher Inn and looking for a place to hold a rehearsal dinner. Suggestions? Semi-casual for about 50-60 people.

I can only speak from one experience there but The Wine Bar in Atlantic Highlands is gorgeous and the food we had was great and service was "on"...I would say they could def do a party of that size...and forget about bringin your own wine.....ummm the name is the The Wine Bar ;-> Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I just reviewed the wine bar on the boards...(if you wanna call what I do "reviewing" lol I just like good places and like to share)

Lanie, Sorry for my silly/dumb post. Try Torcello's for Italian fare and a serene, clean atmosphere. Great appetizers and soups...authentic, quality food. Dinners, however can run somewhat hot and cold depending upon what you order. The owners (husband, wife) are always milling around and will even take your special requests to the chef, so the menu is truly all encompassing. You are never hurried or rushed. Plus, it's a BYOB, so you may bring your fav wine.

I think Red might fit the bill. I've been to a few parties there and have enjoyed them very much.

The one caveat I would say about Red for a rehearsal dinner is that I think you'll need to think of it as a cocktail party with good food; if you are hoping for a dinner with a head table-type arrangement, private-room type stuff I don't *think* Red has that.

Try the Molly Pitcher bar for a lovely romatic vibe. The waiters are great and the bar menu is affordable and delicious. Especially nice on a Sunday afternoon...I'd skip the humongous buffet any day for a lovely bar table.
