Food delivery in San Diego

Hi all,

A family member in San Diego passed away, and I can't attend the funeral but would like to send a platter of food to the family's home in Poway. Can anyone recommend a place that would deliver a nice tray? From looking at Yelp, Urban Fresh Deli looks like it might be a good choice, but not sure if they deliver that far. Appreciate any help!

I just came across a guy that has a taco stand inside his produce store named Pepe's in Ramona on Main street and they will come to your house with 3 different types of meat..goat, adobado, pork, carne asada, with beans and rice with flour/corn tortillas for $5 per person!
Great way to have a party for cheap!
The place is always packed and looks good but I don't eat that kind of stuff but I know you all do.

I've used organic-to-go to cater photo shoots and everyone was pleased. They are completely set up for catering/delivery.

I would try Luc's Bistro in Poway or the Brigantine in Poway..
If you can't find anyone, I could pick up the food and deliver it to your family home.

Beach Chick, that's so sweet! I think we're actually looking for something a little simpler -- basic but good deli sandwiches, or maybe some sweets to nibble on as relatives and friends filter in and out of the home, from a restaurant that delivers.

There are 2 Costco's in Poway that have excellent meat (roast beef, ham, turkey) and cheese (cheddar, swiss, provolone) trays for around $23.00 sliced and ready to place on a bread...they have great big bags of rolls $4 and lots of cut up fruit $6..super cheap and excellent quality.
Great apple/cherry/pecan pies for around $10.
Talk to Costco and see if they will know what to do on delivery choices...best to you!

Maybe try Yanni's Bistro in Poway. I'm not sure if they deliver or not.
