Frank's in Tucson

This place used to be a diner called Frank's during the day, then switched to Mexican food as Francisco's at night. A friend recently told me that Francisco's has completely taken over. Can anyone confirm this? I loved their breakfasts.

I was there last week and Frank's is still THE breakfast place. The atmosphere is like a step back to a roadside diner of the 50s - sassy older waitress, quick service and huge portions.

The food's a bit too greasy, but it's worth it to be waited on by a Food Goddess!

Not really one with the rude waitress thing, since I despise people who are rude to waitrons, so I expect the same in return. Plus the breakfast is so-so, and we've paid way too much for breakfast. Not sure why. May try Fransisco's for dinner sometime, but their huevis rancheros are not really that Mexicanized... just sayin'.

Just ate there this morning. It's called Franks/Francisco. They still have a huge (and pretty good) breakfast menu, and a few mexican influences. Still a diner, so I don't know that much has changed.

It is on our list of regular breakfast joints. Not classy, and can bit a bit greasy, and appear rough, but they are the real deal. Not plastic food like Denny's serves.

I was there last October and it still was the Frank/Francisco thing. I remember Frank from over 30 years ago back there cooking breakfast, he was a hell of a nice guy!
