Any thoughts? A huge space, I know - trying to help out a friend, and nothing comes top of mind. Maybe Chinatown Brasserie?

Jane, Savoy, and Tribeca Grill all have private rooms and serve brunch.

Not in your requested area, but Locanda Verde in Tribeca has a great private room that can accomodate a group that size--not to mention terrific brunch.

I would vote for Chinatown Brasserie myself. You could also try Woo Lae Oak -- they have a couple different private rooms (might be a stretch to call it Brunch but you could do Lunch). Went to a friend's bridal shower at Rosa Mexicano and they also have a private room that should work for you.
