New York Style bagels.

Before the Montreal vs. New York argument begins, can someone tell me where I can find fresh "New York style bagels"? Besides the packaged ones from the grocery store.

Thanks!

I really hate that I'm about to reco this but have you tried Tim Horton's bagels? I was surprised that they even had everything bagels (plein gout if I'm not mistaken)

I honestly don't know what you expect to gain by obtaining NY style bagels "fresh" (i.e. hot out of an oven). You can buy them at any major grocery chain. Don't infer that I think they're crap. I find myself buying them roughly 50% of the time to alternate between them and Montreal ones for variety, but they really aren't so spectacular as to go to the trouble to obtain them hot out of the oven.

I believe the best place for New York bagels is probably New York, my friend. You could try getting some delivered from H&H (who ship worldwide).
