    no liquor license yet.
    opened on friday quietly, getting lots of traffic. great reports so far.

    that patio is going to rock when it opens up.

          No have not eaten, giving it another week before checking it out. Reports are now mixed (portion sizes etc). Will check it out soon though

            I wonder if this is the only menu available. I had thought that they were going to do an affordable brunch as well (based on an entry in Origin's blog a while ago) but it looks like the menu is built on a small plates concept... not my favourite concept, I must admit. Too bad.

              Yeah, if this is the complete menu, then it looks like they're going tapas style with smaller plates for the table to share. Nothing there looks like a gotta try.

              Anywone who ate there can post a review?

                I could be wrong, but I think I recall reading somewhere that the launch of weekend brunch will coincide with the opening of the patio.

                  Not the way the weather is looking this weekend, but looking forward to trying it, if only to see what they ended up doing to the interior after all the work required.

                    Ha ha no, not this weekend -- I meant later in the spring when the patio opens, that's when they plan to start doing brunches.

              The blog on the Origin website states that they now have a liquor license, and also lists a menu in a more readable format than the twitpic:


              Still waiting a review of the actual food.
