Great brunch at Kevin's on Van Brunt

Been meaning to go for some time now -- finally popped into Kevin's for brunch on Sunday. Every bite was delicious and it the low-key vibe (Kevin in the kitchen, wife with silent baby out front) was just what we were looking for.

I look forward to trying their dinner dishes. Anyone been for dinner? What's the word? As tasty and reasonable as brunch?

Went to Kevin's for brunch today - I had pancakes, my sister had fish tacos, we shared a large pot of coffee. Delicious, more than (or less than?) reasonably priced. Place was very cute in a totally non-cutesy way, staff friendly, and food came quickly. The 61 bus stops right out front. Will definitely try again for dinner.

I had a great lobster dinner there last 4th of July. They get their lobsters from Red Hook Lobster pound.

Had an excellent trout dish at brunch there some months back, as far as we could tell they did everything well, but yeah, i got the sense they really know what to do with seafood.
