Yellowtail Ceviche - Suggestions for an hors d'oeuvres base

I've got the recipe...
Yellowtail, ginger, scallion, jalapeno, ponzu (maybe made into jelly so it doesn't cook the fish)
What can I serve it on? possibly cucumber rounds, but I find the flavor over powering sometimes... Not really into the idea of wonton chips - any brilliant ideas?

I'm a big fan of ceviche tostadas. Mini corn tortillas, baked until crisp, might work pretty well.

Daikon radish would make lovely rounds and go well with your flavor profile. Tiny butter lettuce leafs are innocuous and crunchy. I also like the jicama idea.

Saltines? Lettuce cups? Tasting spoons? Daikon? You'll want to soak the daikon a while to remove some of the sharpness.

Cherylptw's idea for forming micro-tortillas are a great way to go too, but you'll have to work fast because they'll get soggy..

Jicama is more mild but crunchier.........or how about kettle potato chips, nice & sturdy, salty but mild and very unconventional.

I once made small cups from cutting out small rounds of flour tortillas, brushing with oil and placing into miniature muffin cups, topping with a second muffin tin to keep the shape while baking. They were perfect for ceviche..you can also buy the mini phyllo cups from the frozen food section of the grocery store and use those. Other options include using hollowed out baby tomatoes or maybe even using shot glasses, not edible but it works
