Headed to Island Prime-suggestions?

My fiancee and I made reservations for dinner at Island Prime and have never been there. I've heard the view is amazing which is the main reason for going there, but we would like to have a good meal. Any suggestions?

I've had the Mac n'Cheese with truffles and side salad that was excellent..my DH had the burger which he enjoyed..they have a great happy hour M-F with a $5 drink and app's..
The food is average but its getting better but you can't beat the view and we like to sit on the patio.

Yup sounds about right. Enjoy the view, enjoy the fiancee. The one time I ate there, I had a blast. The food was decent what you would expect at a more corporate place.

My girlfriend has a gift card to a Cohn restaurant. I'm trying to find the least of many evils, and I think happy hour here is what it's going to be.

Agree with cstr...stick with the basics and you will be fine. I went for a birthday dinner and my rib-eye was cooked perfectly, and tasted pretty darn good. The sides were pretty hit and miss. Wedge Salad was straight forward and old school.

The view is fab, but the chow is just average. Stick to the basics and you'll be OK.
