Vienna- Schoenbrunn area

I'll be heading to Vienna in late June for a seminar and I want to organize a meal for the family I lived with when I was a student. The course is near Schoenbrunn and so are they, so that would be the most convenient. There could be as many as 12 of us, including some children. If the restaurant had a small room, that would be even better. Not looking for anything fancy, just good buergerlicher cooking. It will most likely have to be on a Sunday and midday. Any suggestions?

The only places worth mentioning are Plachutta Hietzing (formerly Hietzinger Bräu) and Mario´s, both owned by the same family.

Thanks Sturmi. I looked at the website, but there are no menus for Plachutta. Strange.

They offer Vienese classics, mainly Tafelspitz and other kinds of boiled beef, and Wiener Schnitzel.

Mario is an Italian Trattoria with Italian classics, well done, nothing extraordinary.
