last day in barcelona?! and grade my trip so far if you will...

hello all, tomorrow is my last day in this fabulous city, and i feel like i have so much more eating to do. first off, i havent done any tapas crawls cuz my friend isnt into doing that (i had no idea!), and he refuses to wait when he´s ravenous. my first tastes were at the boqueria, where, after waiting too long to get a waiter´s attention at pinxtos, i just gave up and left and ended up eating some fried octopus on a stick and some bunuelos that were a bit too salty for me. i also had some octopus on a toothpick w. some green olives which was really good (i could see that being in a vodka martini or something). later that night, we walked around and ended up at bar cua, a total off-the-beaten track place on c. balmes where the very helpful man and woman made us a little bit of some sausages, some manchego, some tomato bread and i had some nice red wine. while it was good, it was nothing special, but the service and atmosphere made up for it. the next day we ended up eating a late lunch in the placa reial at le quinze nits. it was a really nice spot, and i thought it was pretty reasonable considering how nice it is. i had a very nice seafood soup w. some prawns; it wasnt creamy like a bisque, but had such a wonderful seafood flavor (all the seafood ive had so far has been so delicious; nice n sweet, the way it should be). i also just had a salad cuz i was feeling the need for some greens w. some walnuts and parmesan cheese. again, good but nothing special. i did have some really nice cheap white wine though (i love how cheap the wine is here, and so good imho!). later that night we ended up at la flauta, which turned out to be a great choice (after my friend not wanting to wait at la bodegueta). we just sat at the bar, and i tried a beer w. lemonade just cuz i had to (it was ok, but i shouldve gotten a wine instead). but i ordered these most excellent red peppers (that i thought were sausages by the color of them!) stuffed w. cod that were so amazing. i didnt think id enjoy them as much as i did. they were in some kind of pinkish cream sauce w. a little melted cheese on top - ummm. then i had a piece of camembert w. crushed almonds on it that had a drizzle of some raspberry jam on top - yowza was that ridiculous, but it was worth it. my friend and i were completely amazed by it (he saved the rest of his for breakfast). lastly, i had a simple shrimp and calamari skewer that was just grilled w. a little bit olive oil & garlic and there was some mayonnaise on bread under it. it was fantastic. honestly, i cant eat that much food at once, so a crawl for me is almost silly in a way, but i feel like im missing a vital part of catalonian culture. anyway, today (sunday) we separated, and i headed down to the old town and had myself a nice lunch of black rice & seafood at what i thought was a good place called trobador. little did i know that this is a chain of restaurants, but i enjoyed my food and had a nice glass of cava for 11E. that´s pretty good i think, considering the rice came w. a good amount of seafood (some mussels, a couple clams, some fish, a couple prawns, all very fresh tasting). their tapas looked really good too, but like i said, i can only eat so much at a time, and i had been wanting to try a rice dish. after walking around a bunch more, i finally stopped at a big cafe on ferran and had my first hot chocolate and churros. the churros were nothing great, but the hot chocolate sure was delicious. man is that stuff heavy though (im gonna have some clogged arteries by the time i get back to the states!). tonight we´re going to qu qu because it´s not far from us, and it´s one of the few places that are open (+ it looks good)...so what do you think i should hit tomorrow? we plan on going to parc guell, then going to barceloneta and taking the cable car over the harbor around dusk, so we´ll probably do dinner after that down there, or somewhere not far. thanks for any suggestions!

    Sorriest it is very difficult to read your one long paragraph that has no capitalized proper nouns. Could you summarize your question for us?

      It's nice to be nice though isn't it? He's asking for a good place to have dinner near the harbour tonight I think...
