MSP Steakhouses for Lunch

With spring break coming up, some of us middle school teachers are planning a decadent lunch. We are thinking Capital Grille...would do any of the steakhouses--Manny's, Murray's, etc.

Any idea which is best for lunch? Thanks!

As far as meat goes, I'd recommend Manny's. For the nostalgia, Murrays. I like both and I don't think you can go wrong either way.

If you wanted to branch out a smidge from steakhouse, I'd also consider Fogo de Chao. While I usually try to avoid suggesting chains, I will say that Fogo's lunch is nice, offers greater variety than steakhouses and will provide you with the feeling of decadence after you have eaten all you want.

I heard that Ruth's Chris has great specials now for lunch. I haven't been over there to check it out but the food is usually good.

For lunch; I like Manny's or Capital only because they have windows and I love the sunshine. I prefer Manny's because it's less of a chain (and Parasole is local), but that is my hang-up.

I've only ever been to Murray's for dinner (and I love it) and don't recall any windows but those in the front bar. I could be way off.

For nostalgic and historical context and the garlic toast I prefer Murray's. :)

They all have good steaks.
