11 Maple St. in Jensen Beach
Has anyone been? Zagat gave it highest honors and I have heard wonderful things. Wondering if it's worth the two hour road trip from Miami? Menu seems exorbitantly expensive. $45 for yellowfin tuna?

I took Karen there for her birthday 3-4 years ago so my experience is a little dated. The restaurant is in an old beach cottage (although not on the beach) and was very charming. A nice setting for a birthday dinner. I can't remember what we ordered but I recall that we both enjoyed our meals from appetizers to dessert and thought that it was well worth the drive from Boca.
Hopefully someone will have a more current experience to share.

re: RickL
I was at 11 Maple Street last night and was disappointed. I was comparing it to a visit last November when the food was fantastic. I had the pan-fried conch with balsamic vinegar and lime on both visits, which is one of their signature items. The flavors were still there on the 2nd visit, but the conch was not tender and was not hot. Our party of 5 had many other items, but the consistency was not there. Perhaps, they were so busy that they were having an off night. The desserts were all excellent, but the coffee, again was not hot. I might go back during the off-season.
