I live on the Westbank... Harvey to be exact, but work in Kenner. The perfect weather is finally here and quite frankly... sometimes for a lunch treat I just want a good snocone. I moved here about six months ago and since have only tried Pandora's on Carrolton. Nothing beats a snocone with condensed milk...Delicious. Do you guys have suggestions on snocone stands in Kenner and the Westbank?

There's one on General Meyer in Algiers that is really good. Kind of close to the Navy base.

they're called snoballs down here, fyi. pandora's is good. hansen's is a must-try. and plum street is another good one. those are my top three. i'm also hearing good things about queen of the ball on oak near carrollton.

There is one on the corner of Roosevelt and Airline in Kenner that makes all their own syrups. You can get a taste of each before you buy if you ask nice. The ice is not as fluffy as most of the other snowball stands in the area but the flavors are fantastic. Ultimate peach or strawberry are our favorites. There are bits of fruit in it. You can add condensed milk too. He's got it all.
